The 50mm APO-LANTHAR is Voigtlander's highest resolution standard lens. The Z APO-Lanthar delivers outstanding optical performance benefiting from APO-chromatic color correction and high resolution optics optimized for Z system sensors. We believe the 50mm APO-LANTHAR is among the best 50mm lenses ever produced. Floating elements are used with the 10 element in 8 groups optical design. Two Aspherical elements have aspherical surfaces on both sides. 2 elements are made using anomalous partial dispersion glass. Voigtlander Z lenses are equipped with electronic contacts to communicative between the lens and camera body. Twelve aperture blades provide beautiful bokeh. Voigtlander Z lenses are manual focus lenses with all metal lens barrels and electrical contacts to communicate with the Z body.
